Meet Chula Chula is about 1 and 1/2 years old and weighs about 45 pounds, a petite, beautiful girl who we believe might be a pit mix. Chula's story is one of strength and survival. She was rescued from a homeless encampment after being left behind during one of the hottest times of the year with little shade and no food or water. She had just had a litter of puppies and was severely underweight when we found her., but she never gave up. With care, love, and time, Chula has blossomed into a gentle, affectionate companion. She can be shy at first, but once she feels safe and trusts you, she shows her sweet and loving personality. Chula is very dog friendly, potty trained, and loves to be close to the people she bonds with.
