About Remmel
Remmel arrived at Hope Fur Paws Rescue after being found starving at Remmel Dam, along with Rusty, who is likely his son. Despite such a rough start, Remmel is incredibly affectionate and forgiving. He’s around 3 years old, weighs about 45 pounds, and sports a short coat in warm shades of apricot, beige, and cream. Remmel is fully house trained, a big plus, and gets along effortlessly with other dogs, cats, and children. His gentle, easygoing nature makes him a true teddy bear—sweet-tempered, never showing an ounce of aggression, and happy to cuddle or nap under blankets. He loves tug-of-war, sleeping under blankets, and enjoys learning new things. He’s been working on basic manners, like not jumping and sitting (especially if treats are involved), but a previous injury means patience is appreciated. Remmel brings out smiles and calm wherever he goes. He’s looking for a home to call his own after spending nine months in rescue care. Remmel is available now in Lonsdale, AR.
