About Remmel
This could be the start of something paw-some. Remmel and his son Rusty were discovered hungry and frightened near Remmel Dam, but their sweet spirits remained unbroken. At around 3 years old, Remmel is a medium-sized Pit Bull Terrier with soft apricot and cream hues in his short coat. Remmel has spent nine months waiting at the rescue, eager for a permanent home. He’s house trained, gets along beautifully with other dogs, cats, and children, and loves both tug-of-war and curling up as a cuddly teddy bear. Despite past hardships—including an old leg injury from being hit by a car—he’s loving, gentle, and never aggressive. He’s learned potty training and basic commands, and his playful, affectionate nature shines through every cuddle and nap under a cozy blanket. Remmel is ready for a family who will spoil him with the care and love he so deserves. He truly is a loyal and gentle companion longing for his happy ending. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
