About Daisy
Daisy is a striking white hound mix, accented by brindle markings and a gentle, playful personality. Born on June 20th, 2019, Daisy carries a little astrological magic: she’s a Cancer, known for their loyalty and sweetness. Currently about 43 pounds, she’s a smart girl who loves to work for treats and already has a solid ‘sit’ command down. She thrives on positive human interaction and seeks a home that will keep her mind engaged. Daisy is dog selective, gets along with older children, but has a rough-and-tumble energy that isn’t suited to little ones. Cats are a definite no for her. She is happiest with outdoor space—she delights in chasing squirrels—so a fenced yard is best. Daisy manages some allergies, needing special food and weekly allergy injections, so any adopters must be ready for a medical consult and some ongoing care. Her loving nature and enthusiasm for life more than make up for the extra effort. Daisy is spayed, vaccinated, and house trained. Give her a chance and she’ll fill your home with joy. Questions about Daisy
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Hounds like Daisy tend to do best in homes with plenty of room to move, especially those that can offer a secure backyard for play and exercise.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Daisy’s hound background means she thrives in a home with a fenced yard where she can chase, explore, and burn off energy safely.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
While hounds, including Daisy, often do well with older children, their size and energy level can be overwhelming for little ones, so supervision or an older child household is preferable.
