Whisper is a small gray tabby who has come a long way since being found under a trailer in Tioga County, PA. Once quite feral, she's spent time in rescue learning how to navigate life with people. Today, she remains sensitive and shy, happiest when things are on her own terms. Whisper warms up to the patient, sitting calmly and letting her make the first move—wet food and gentle pets are usually the ticket. She’s playful with wand toys and gets along very well with other cats and kittens, so she must be adopted into a home with another feline companion. Whisper has met calm, cat-friendly dogs and does okay with time and patience, but she's easily spooked and needs a tranquil home—no young children recommended.
