About Sadie
Sadie is a true gem with an incredibly affectionate nature. The moment her foster parents enter the room, she starts purring and making biscuits, eager for love and attention. She seeks out laps immediately and rolls over, stretching out and making air biscuits, simply delighted to be close to people. She isn't shy around anyone, instead acting thrilled to receive affection from anyone nearby. Sadie is a deep tortoiseshell cat, with a charming little orange mark on her cheek—though you might miss the subtle coloring in photos. Her journey hasn't been easy: she was found taking shelter in a gutter with her latest litter of kittens, sitting there for days, confused and waiting for help. Thankfully, her finder not only saved Sadie but also found homes for all her kittens. She isn't the biggest fan of other cats but can likely live with them given slow, careful introductions. Sadie has also met her foster family's senior dog and seemed unfazed, so she may do fine with respectful, cat-savvy dogs who won't bother her. Her foster is willing to help with transport outside of Texas through a trusted company if you're not local. Sadie is spayed, fully vaccinated, FeLV/FIV/HW negative, dewormed, microchipped, and current on monthly flea control. Her adoption fee is $150. If you're looking for a supremely loving, mild-mannered companion, Sadie is ready to fill that spot in your life. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
