About Edamame
Edamame came from a rough environment in Cleveland, TX, but quickly made it clear she wasn't cut out for life on the street. Initially brought in through a TNR program, her gentle nature and eagerness for affection stood out the moment she woke from surgery. Once safe in foster care, vets discovered she had FIP, which explained her fragile frame. With fast, determined treatment and a strong spirit, Edamame bounced back—she's now officially healthy, with no sign of relapse after her observation period. She remains a sweet, affectionate, and gentle young cat who’s happiest curled up next to her people (or on them—her favorite spot is your chest or under your arm). She’s world-class at snuggling and will happily be your little spoon for as long as you'll let her. It takes her a moment to warm up to new faces, but once she does, she’s all in. Play is an occasional hobby; cuddling is her passion. Edamame gets along with cats and would truly enjoy a feline companion. She's also fine around polite, cat-savvy dogs, though she reserves her strongest affections for her humans and fellow cats. Spayed, vaccinated, and fully tested, Edamame is ready for a home that wants an affectionate, steady presence. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
