About Daisy
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Daisy, an incredibly sweet and gentle young hound/cattle dog mix with a heart full of potential. Daisy is still learning what it means to feel safe and loved, so she craves gentle reassurance and the comfort of a calm home. She's known for her submissive, quiet personality, rarely making a sound aside from the occasional whimper when separated from those she trusts—her bond with people, especially those who treat her with kindness, runs deep. Daisy adores treats, cozy spots to curl up in, and soft snuggles, and once you earn her trust, she will melt right into you. Children are welcomed by Daisy's gentle nature; she enjoys their company and has shown no signs of aggression. While her experience with other dogs and cats isn’t well documented, her sensitive, shy demeanor suggests she will do well with slow, proper introductions and confident canine companions to help guide her. As a puppy, she's curious, mouthy, and exploring her world through chewing, so she'll need the structure and patience that comes with continued puppy training. She isn’t yet housebroken or crate trained, and walking on a leash is still a nervous experience—her adopter should be ready for gentle, positive support as she gains confidence and social skills. Daisy’s affection and trust shine through her shy exterior. With the right family and a little time, she’ll blossom into the devoted companion she’s destined to be. Fun fact: Daisy is an Aries, which means she has a spark of courage inside that’s just waiting to bloom with your help! Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
