HOW THIS ANIMAL IS WITH: CATS: Good with other cats and needs a welcoming, nurturing cat friend DOGS: No dogs KIDS: No small kids KNOWN LIKES: Soft pets and calm KNOWN DISLIKES: Chaos and loud noise ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Beautiful Marlie is a fluffy kitty surrendered to Homeward Trails with her sister during TRN in rural Virginia. They hadn't had much socialization and had no hope for a stable home where they were. Our fosters worked hard to socialize them and bring them out of their shells. Marlie has gained a lot of confidence, coming to be pet and following her humans around, but she is quick to startle. She loves other cats and must be adopted to a home with a welcoming cat friend who will take her under their paw. She also is not a fan of being picked up and will do best in a calm home without small kids or dogs. HT ADOPTION INCLUDES: Spay/Neuter A series of FVRCP vaccines, rabies vaccine (if old enough), and deworming Microchip - lifetime registration with no fees EXCLUSIVE ADOPTER BENEFITS: Free physical exam with Caring Hands Animal Hospital, Palisades Veterinary Clinic, Jermantown Animal Hospital and Clarendon Animal Care within 30 days of adoption and all VCA Animal Hospitals (VCA offers $250 coverage - details provided) within 14 days of adoption.
