About Oakley
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Meet Oakley! Oakley was born around May 15, 2023, and he is just a lovely young man. Oakley is the strong, silent type—he is the bravest of his siblings and enjoys plenty of playtime. He is currently in a foster home with a dog and gets along well with her, showing his adaptable and friendly nature. One of Oakley's favorite activities is to curl up in his foster dad's lap for a nap while getting lots of pets. Oakley is listed as special needs because he has Feline Leukemia (FeLV). While this may sound daunting, there is lots of promising new research available, and interested adopters are encouraged to look into recent advances. The rescue would love to see Oakley find a home together with his sister Octavia, but he would also thrive as an only feline or with other FeLV+ cats, or cats who have been vaccinated against FeLV. Oakley would likely do well in a home with children as well. Oakley is truly the full package: playful, cuddly, gentle, smart, and beautiful—all wrapped up in striking black and white fur. Give him the loving home he’s been waiting for. Start your journey together! Apply now.
