About Teddy

Teddy has bounced back from the unthinkable. After a severe accident left his organs displaced, he survived major surgery and is healing up well. His story began with weeks of being untreated for serious injuries, his liver, spleen, intestines, and part of his stomach forced into his chest by a torn diaphragm. Thanks to a complex (and costly) surgery, everything is where it should be now and Teddy’s making the most of his second chance. Personality-wise, Teddy is a mix of chihuahua and cattle dog traits: he’s needy, sometimes bossy, and always adorable. There’s a little bit of obsessive streak in his daily routine, and he sticks close to people he trusts—your shadow if you let him. He gets along with dogs and cats but craves the spotlight and can be a handful if he feels ignored. While the leash is new to him, he tolerates it, and he’s comfortable in a kennel. Teddy loves a good cuddle and responds well to direction, even if he’d prefer to be the main focus. Click apply to start the adoption process.
