About Forest

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Forest is a 2 to 3-year-old neutered male Beagle who weighs 24 lbs. Along with his loyal companion Fig, Forest was found abandoned in a crate by the side of the road, and the two share an unbreakable bond—they'll only be adopted together. When rescued, both dogs were in rough shape, thin and suffering severe hair loss, but after compassionate care and medical attention, Forest has blossomed into a healthy, happy, and a bit chubby boy! Now thriving, Forest is eager to join a forever family where he can truly be loved and spoiled. He is sweet, playful, and has shown a remarkable ability to forgive and move forward from his challenging past. While he still needs some guidance with house training, he already does well with both children and other dogs. His compatibility with cats is still unknown. Forest is up to date on his vaccinations, has been wormed, and is already neutered. He is being fostered in Liberty Center, Ohio, and awaits a home that can give him and Fig the loving life they've always deserved. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
