Meet Chopper! Chopper is a guesstimated 8 year old male neutered mixed breed dog (we suspect there’s some beagle in there!). He has SO much love to give! He will make anyone smile; he has a very charismatic attitude that makes his foster laugh, daily. Chopper landed himself at the shelter to no fault to his own, his owner passed away. We promised he’d never end up in a shelter, again. Since his neuter, he has been marking way less and we anticipate he will be free of the urge, with some more time. He likes dog friends but they can’t be dominant. He would be just fine being an only dog, too. He LOVES stuffed toys, his favorite is a stuffed monkey. He wants to carry his monkey everywhere - outside to potty, in his crate, up on the couch. He thinks his crate is his safe place. Chopper needs a patient adopter. Someone who will give him time to adjust and realize he’s there to stay. Will you be that person to sweet Chopper?
