Just because they are not bernese and a little older, no one is interested in giving these sweet babies their forever home! They lost their original home when their owner died and have been waiting ever since. Meet Mavis - She is a sweet, 85#, 4 yr old Rottweiler mix?? That is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, on heartworm preventative and blind in one eye. She is totally bonded with Hayes and they literally won’t make a move if the other is not by their side. Meet Hayes – He is a 6 year old, 100# Rottweiler mix. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, on heartworm preventative and has a bit of arthritis. He is taking Dasuquin for this. X-rays were done and he does not have hip dysplasia. Mavis and Hayes were left abandoned in their yard last November after their owner passed away. They have been in a foster home for the last 11 months just waiting for their forever home. Both Mavis and Hayes are very chill and like to be lazy. They are very gentle, affectionate, enthusiastic indoor dogs. They both LOVE to snuggle. Hayes is a bit of a goof in a good way. They get along well with children, cats, and other dogs. However, Hayes will go after small animals: squirrels, rabbits and small dogs if he gets excited. Currently, they are in Chicago where there are many sirens going off. Well, the two of them like to sing along with those sirens which can get noisy. Long and short of it they like to hear their own voices which can get noisy. These two must need a physically fenced yard and someone to love them both!
