Lucy landed here in October 2023 after her lifelong owner could no longer care for her. She came through her former vet, already with a wellness exam and titer test; dental work is scheduled in the near future. Lucy is a senior Persian, currently rooming with Grandpa Jack, but she prefers to call the shots and have space on her own terms. You won’t find her in a lap, but she does love being brushed and welcomes gentle attention, so long as it's at her pace. She’s an independent spirit and shines best in a home without other cats, though she has calmly shared space with gentle males before. Lucy comes from a rescue with strong nutritional standards and modern vaccination protocols, including titer testing. Her potential adopter should be comfortable with this thoughtful approach—chosen to avoid over-vaccination and its risks.
