About Captain
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Captain, a 3-year-old German Shepherd who's basically a furry, four-legged action movie waiting to happen. Fetch? Sure, he'll chase the ball like he's gunning for an Olympic medal, but returning it? Not likely—he’s keeping it for himself, and your fetch game ends when he decides the fun is over. His toy of choice is a ball on a rope, a nod to his opinion that sharing is for amateurs. Captain enjoys solo workouts on the treadmill, preferring to avoid human error while he runs. When it comes to other dogs, he’s fine coexisting—until they make a move. That’s when his focus sharpens, and he’s ready for his “mission impossible.” To keep the peace, Captain has been trained to wear his muzzle in public, which keeps outings calm. Ideally, Captain should be the only dog in your life, relishing all the attention as your only fur child. At home, he’s a laundry expert—he doesn’t discriminate between clean and dirty—and he’ll be right by your side, an 80-pound shadow devoted to following you from room to room. In his foster home, Captain met children and did a great job interacting with them. He shines during training, especially if snacks are involved, and he’s never afraid to show off his confident gym bro vibes at the park. Captain is truly a wild card—life certainly won’t be boring! Fun fact: Captain is an Aquarius, so he’s independent and full of surprises. Ready to bring home a pup who’s equal parts companion, athlete, and comic relief? Make their next chapter their best one yet.
