About Lucy
Lucy is a resilient older gal, about 8 to 10 years old, who’s endured more than most dogs—she’s been abandoned at least three times. After being found in the desert and bounced between rescues, she’s handled every setback with surprising patience. Despite her long journey, Lucy has remained gentle and sincere. Her house manners are impeccable: she’s both house trained and crate trained, and she seems to understand how to respect people’s space. Those soft, quiet eyes tell the whole story—she’s looking for a calm, safe home where she can finally relax. Lucy would thrive in a peaceful environment without small children and would do best either as the only dog or with other calm seniors. She gets along with cats and other mellow dogs and wants nothing more than a quiet spot to call her own. She really deserves an extra-soft landing after everything she’s been through.
