About Davidson
Davidson is a 7-year-old, 72lb American Bulldog mix, known for his signature wrinkled face and big heart. When rescued from a high-risk shelter situation in OKC, he arrived shut down, trembling, and afraid to even look at his foster. Just a couple hours of patience and care transformed him—Davidson began seeking out affection and comfort, a true testament to how quickly he wants to trust. This boy has endured more than his share but remains eager for gentle companionship. He’s recently completed heartworm treatment and is looking for a committed, understanding forever family. Davidson needs adopters who will move slowly, respect his boundaries, and help him build confidence, especially when it comes to car rides and tight spaces. He’ll do best with adults and older kids, preferably with someone already familiar with fearful or sensitive dogs. Davidson has shown he can get along with calm dogs after careful introductions, and is open to being cat-tested if needed. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, crate trained, and housebroken. His birthday makes him an Aries, so expect a courageous but sensitive spirit. Ready to give this lovable wrinkle head the second chance he deserves? Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
