Meet Oliver, a striking American Bulldog and Boxer mix with an unmistakable charm. At about 5.5 years old, Oliver weighs in around 60 lbs and brings a strong, athletic presence with his red and white short coat. Originally adopted as a puppy, he found his way back to the rescue simply due to his previous owner’s circumstances, not any fault of his own. Oliver thrives on attention and has an irresistible way of leaning into pets from anyone willing. There’s a good dose of goofiness here—he’s not shy about trying to climb into a lap if he thinks he’s earned it. Highly social, he’s been great around kids, though his size and energy mean he would do better in homes with older children who can match his playful strength. He really needs an active household ready to involve him in daily activities and give him both physical and mental stimulation. When playtime ends, Oliver’s happy to settle quietly at your side. He’s in daycare now, so expect a quick refresher on house training as he readjusts to home life. He’s crate trained, house trained, and does best walking with a harness due to his strength. He must be the only dog in the home, and a tall, secure fenced yard is a must—you’ll want that for his play sessions. Oliver is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and ready for foster-to-adopt, foster, or adoption. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
