About Mikasa
Mikasa is packing up the farm life and looking for a real home. He’s had a good run with dogs, cats, and even farm animals, and generally gets along great—with one clear preference for female dogs over other males. Mikasa is a neutered terrier mix, large and energetic, fiercely loyal. Once he decides you’re his person, he’s in it for the long haul. He's house trained and crate trained, with solid indoor manners. Mikasa thrives with older children who understand how to respect a dog’s space. If there’s one rule, it’s this: let him eat his meals separately, in peace—he takes dinnertime seriously and enjoys his food best with some boundaries. Mikasa loves car rides, chasing balls in the yard, and exploring the outdoors. He’s always up for adventure, whether it’s a hike or a long walk, and he never says no to a round of fetch. If what you want is an active, loyal companion with a big heart who’s over the farm life and ready to join a family, Mikasa is your guy. Born June 23, Mikasa is a sensitive Cancer at heart, and in Flintstone, MD waiting for his home. Click apply to start the adoption process.
