About Tallulah
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Tallulah! This 6-year-old pocket pitty is 45 pounds of pure affection, ready to shower you with unconditional love. Though she can be a bit apprehensive at first, once she gets comfortable she becomes a charming goofball, eager to be your loyal companion. After being rescued from the streets of NYC and facing the challenges of shelter life, Tallulah is learning to trust again—especially with women—though she has also grown fond of caring men in her foster home. She enjoys walks, cuddling, and even has a quirky habit of napping in the bathtub. Tallulah gets along well with her foster brother beagle and shows promise for sharing a home with another dog, but she would also flourish as the only dog, soaking up all your attention. She has shown little interest in cats, so a feline friend may also be a possibility. Tallulah is crate trained, walks politely on leash, and is a delight during grooming. She is working on her basic commands and continues to reveal her playful, happy side every day. With her birthday on September 18, Tallulah is a practical and loyal Virgo, a sign known for loving routines—just like her! Take a chance on this lovable, silly, and resilient dog who is ready for her happy ending. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
