Betty
AvailableBetty is a 7-year, 7-month-old mixed breed Labrador Retriever in Augusta, GA. She’s a large, adult female who is already spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and house trained. Though she’s lived a tough life, Betty is seeking a fresh start in a stable home.
About Betty
Betty has endured the boarding kennel routine far longer than any dog should, becoming practically a fixture there. She's honed those classic puppy-dog eyes, keeps her space spotless, and honestly has outgrown shelter life. She’s overdue for a real home and a steady spot on someone’s sofa. At seven-and-a-half, Betty is squarely past any puppy antics—she’s confident, playful, and pours on the affection. Her background wasn’t easy: she made it on the streets, surviving under the watch of a kind soul, and raised multiple litters before coming into rescue. Those days are finished; she’s now spayed and fully vaccinated. Betty is best for an adult home or families with kids 12 and up. She’s a silly, energetic yard companion and the type of dog who wants to be beside you on the couch as much as possible. When it comes to other dogs, she does well with laid-back, submissive types, but won’t yield her "boss" status easily. If you want a loyal sidekick with a generous heart who’s happy to fill your evenings with cuddles, Betty is ready. Start your journey together! Apply now.
