About Boots
Meet Boots and Jett, the dynamic duo of delightful density, the heavyweight champions of heart-melting charm, and the full-figured feline icons you didn’t know you needed in your life. At around 8 years old and roughly 20 pounds each, these domestic medium hair brothers arrive with enough fluff and stretch to keep your couch warm, your heart full, and your vet slightly concerned. Boots, with his soft paws and even softer personality, is the type who believes every snack is a love letter and every lap is a throne. Jett, on the other hand, moves with all the stealth and grace of a slightly overpacked carry-on bag—determined, adorable, and just a tiny bit rounder than aerodynamic design would recommend. Together, they are equal parts cuddle, comedy, and cat-shaped ottoman. They came into rescue carrying… let’s call it a generous amount of “prosperity,” so they’ll need a family ready to help them slowly and safely rediscover their waistlines. Think of it as a fitness journey, but with way more purring and far fewer motivational podcasts. Fortunately, they’re playful, sweet, and totally willing to participate in the occasional feather-toy cardio session—assuming snack o’clock doesn’t conflict. Boots and Jett are neutered, microchipped, negative for FeLV/FIV, and fully up to date on vaccines. Most importantly, they are bonded, meaning wherever one goes, the other dutifully waddles behind in perfect plus-size synchrony. They’re two chunky best friends ready for a home that loves big cats, big personalities, and big love. If you’re looking for a pair of affectionate, hilarious, and wonderfully well-rounded companions, Boots and Jett are prepared for takeoff—destination: your heart. Want to meet them? Please fill out our application at azhartt.org/adopt Requirements include meeting everyone in the household and a complete home check. Adoption applications are approved on a best-fit basis. We do not do out-of-state adoptions. Boots & Jett are indoor-only cats who need a family to keep them safe inside.
