Pepper came to us as a mama of three kittens. She was living in a barn. She is friendly and a good mama. She is using her litter box and eating well. She is around 1 1/2 years old. She is currently receiving her healthcare. If you are interested in meeting Pepper, please come see us at the shelter. Update 8/11/25: Pepper has been spayed and received her rabies vaccine. Unfortunately, when we did her bloodwork, she tested positive for FIV. We would recommend for her to go to a home with other cats that have FIV or to a home on her own. She also must be an indoor pet only. FIV is a non-curable disease, and it suppresses the immune system. Cats with FIV can live normal long lives with proper care and protection. Every cat adopted from our shelter will be fixed, wormed, vaccinated and tested for FIV and FeLV. Cats from Green Hills Animal Shelter will also come with a starter bag or Hills Science Diet to get you started.
