Bella Cat came in with her companion, Honey Bunny, after their previous owner was no longer able to care for them. While she’s initially timid, Bella responds warmly to shoulder scratches and quiet attention. Life at the shelter has made her pretty anxious, but beneath that worry is a gentle, affectionate cat just waiting for the right person to notice her. Bella is a very large orange and white domestic shorthair—right now, she weighs in at 19.4 lbs and could use some help trimming down to a healthier size. Currently, Bella is being treated for an upper respiratory infection, which is expected to resolve soon. She’s settled into adult life and is estimated to be between 8 and 10 years old. Each cat adopted from Green Hills Animal Shelter is spayed or neutered, wormed, vaccinated to their age, tested for FIV/FeLV, and goes home with a starter bag of Hills Science Diet food.
