Patty
AvailablePatty is a large female tabby with a short, brown and chocolate coat, living in New Richmond, WI. At about 6 years and 8 months old, she is a spayed adult cat who is house trained and up to date on vaccinations. Patty gets along with cats and older children, and brings a calm presence to any quiet home.
About Patty
Patty came in as a stray, battling deep bite wounds and a nasty infection. She was rail-thin, worn out, and had clearly been through more than her share, surviving Midwest spring out in the elements. With rest, good food, and attention, she bounced back and is now fully recovered. Patty is a sweet, laid-back adult cat looking for a calm home where she can be the only cat. She tolerates other cats, but really wants the spotlight and hopes for all the affection to herself. If you have a mellow cat who minds their own business, that's negotiable—she just asks not to be pestered. Patty is good with older children; kids younger than five could be a bit overwhelming, as she prefers peace and her routine naps. Her experience with dogs is unknown. As a bonus, Patty’s best guess at her birthday is September 17, 2019, which makes her a practical Virgo—expect her to appreciate structure and a mellow household. Questions about Patty
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Patty is a tabby cat who will thrive in a quiet indoor home where she can relax and claim her own spaces. Tabbies do well in a range of settings as long as they have areas to retreat to.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Patty, like most domestic tabby cats, doesn't need outdoor space to be happy. She prefers to stay safe and comfortable inside, napping and watching the world from sunny windows.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Tabby cats like Patty are generally fine with older children who respect their space. Young kids can be a bit much for her, so a home with older or calmer children is ideal.
