About Ms. Hazel

Your new best friend is just one click away. Ms. Hazel, also known as Hazel, has faced some challenging times but is now ready for a loving forever home. She came to the rescue with a serious eye injury and, thanks to swift and compassionate care, has undergone both her spay and the necessary removal of her damaged eye. Despite this rough start, she has shown great resilience adapting to her new world. Hazel may be cautious with strangers, which is understandable given her past trauma, but she thrives in a patient and loving environment. Time, space, and understanding are her needs right now—especially from someone willing to help her transition to a peaceful indoor life where she is truly cherished. Though earning her trust may take a little longer, the bond she will form is sure to be deeply rewarding. This sweet girl gets along wonderfully with other cats and is often seen snuggling with her feline companions. She might do well with calm, gentle dogs, though she could be uneasy with very energetic ones. The best home for Hazel would be one with no young children, or only older, quieter children, so she can settle in comfortably. Hazel does best on food formulated for sensitive stomachs; this is a slightly higher quality and price, but crucial for her continued well-being. Her caring nature and gentle spirit will make her a treasured member of any home. Fun fact: with a September 9th birthday, she's a practical and intelligent Virgo, ready for routine, love, and lots of cozy naps. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
