About Josie

They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Josie is an 18-month-old female weighing about 60 lbs, and she's a happy girl who loves meeting dogs of all sizes. While she may be a bit cautious with people at first, Josie absolutely enjoys getting pets and gentle scratches. She happily joins for walks and is always up for car rides and adventures. Her leash skills are excellent, she takes treats gently, and she uses the doggie door like a pro. Josie spends her nights soundly in her crate, and her quiet nature means she's not one to bark unnecessarily. Josie has excellent house manners, though she can't resist the occasional sock she finds on the floor—she'll proudly parade it around, only to drop it and forget about it soon after. Bath time isn’t her favorite, but she loves streams and beaches, though she prefers to leap over the waves rather than dive in. At home, Josie is a loyal companion, never far from her people. She's being fostered with two other adult dogs and does great with dog companions. Josie is best with older children due to her shy streak; she's gentle but not much of a cuddler, making her a perfect match for families who respect her space. She is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and excited to meet her forever family! Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
