About Luna

Luna thought she had a forever home, but sometimes things change. Raised in a quieter environment, the noise and activity of a home with a new baby proved too much for her, so she came back to the rescue. Luna’s a funny mix of silly and sweet—she loves sprinting around the yard, indulging her digging instincts, and burrowing under the covers when it’s time to rest. She’s housebroken and quick to show off her sit and shake paw skills. Her kennel gives her comfort, and she seeks out her little den when she needs downtime. She’s a sensitive soul: loud voices, thunderstorms, and baths stress her, though she’ll put up with the latter with lots of canine side-eye. Luna has shown protective instincts and will defend her space and her people if she feels threatened—she once nipped in a moment she thought she needed to protect her owner. Because of this, she shouldn’t share her home with small children, cats, or other dogs. Luna’s looking for a home willing to respect boundaries and help her feel secure. On Luna’s terms, she’s a tremendous companion: loving, loyal, playful, and up for a good cuddle session. Anyone who takes the time to understand her gets a goofy, snuggly best friend who loves fiercely. For safety, she’ll need a martingale collar. Luna is spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations. Fun fact: Luna is a Sagittarius, known for their adventurous and loyal spirit. Start your journey together! Apply now.
