About Georgia
Georgia has come a long way and it shows. She’s a big, well-behaved American Bulldog mix—sweet, funny, not pushy, and definitely not one to jump or lick in your face. Since coming to rescue, she’s left a tough past behind: she was rescued underweight, heartworm positive, and in need of surgeries for both a mass and an untreated old leg injury. Now, she’s recovered like a champ, walks well on a leash, and settles in her crate with no drama. Children hold a special place in her heart. She’s gentle, adores attention, and fits right into a home that can give her time and affection without being clingy. She does well with other dogs but won’t be a fit with cats. Treats are the way to her heart, and she’s motivated to please. Now fully vetted—spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and on regular preventatives—Georgia is just waiting for a fresh start. She’s got several good years ahead, and she deserves every one of them spent as a real family member. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
