About Pumpkin
Pumpkin is a white and black American Staffordshire Terrier who recently found safety after being abandoned in Houston. She and her companion were rescued from a muddy retention pond, and the foster family has only good things to say about her. In just a few days, Pumpkin has shown a calm, affectionate nature—she gets along easily with other dogs, including Great Danes, and does well at the vet. She enjoys her walks, is polite meeting kids and adults out in public, and doesn't jump or act out. There’s no destructiveness here, and you won’t have to worry about silly antics. As long as she has an energy outlet like a dog park or playtime, Pumpkin is balanced and easy to manage around the house. She is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and spayed. For Pumpkin, the rescue requires that she and her companion stay together; they're closely bonded and do best as a pair. She’s house trained and adapting quickly to new routines. If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key but active addition to your home, Pumpkin is ready to start her next chapter in the greater Houston area. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
