About Minnie Rodeo Queen

Minnie is the kind of dog who makes people stop mid-sentence and say, “okay
how is she real?” She is just pure sweetness from the moment she meets you. There are no strangers in Minnie’s world—only future best friends she hasn’t cuddled yet. She greets people with instant affection and a very clear agenda: pets, cuddles, scratches, and as much closeness as physically possible. If you sit down, she’s there. If you’re standing, she’s politely reminding you that sitting would be better. She truly lives for her people and wants nothing more than to be part of everything you do. With other dogs, Minnie has shown she’s social and confident. She met a wide range of dogs both on leash and off leash and handled it all with ease. She doesn’t bring drama—she just exists comfortably in her own space. She’s not overly playful in a high-energy, rough-and-tumble way, but she can get a bit silly and rowdy if another dog is bouncing off the walls. Most of the time though, she’d rather be doing her own thing: exploring, hanging out, or sticking close to her humans for affection. She could absolutely live with another calm, respectful dog in the home, especially one who is easygoing around mealtimes and treats. Check out how sweet she is in her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/t-karpUL_3o?si=yk-Pk902gtTK1ldX Because Minnie is very food-motivated (in the cutest, smartest way possible), mealtime is serious business for her. She loves treats—like, truly loves them—and she lights up when training is involved. “Sit” is already in her skill set, especially if you’ve got a snack in hand. It’s where her intelligence really shines. She wants to learn, she wants to please, and she definitely wants the reward that follows. Because of how much she values food, she’d do best in a home where feeding routines are managed thoughtfully so everyone can relax and feel secure. Minnie did meet a house cat during her evaluation, and she was very interested—maybe a little too interested. Because of that curiosity and intensity, a cat-free home would be the best fit for her. She hasn’t been tested with children yet, but given her gentle, affectionate nature and her love for people in general, she has all the signs of being a wonderful family dog. She’s the kind of dog who would likely adore kids, especially ones who enjoy snuggling and being part of her very large cuddle circle. Any additional testing can absolutely be done before adoption to make sure it’s the perfect match. On leash, Minnie is a dream. She walks beautifully and stays tuned in without being overly reactive or difficult to manage. She’s steady, calm, and enjoyable to take places. That makes her a fantastic candidate for a home that wants a dog who can join in on outings—coffee runs, strolls, park walks, or even light hikes. She has the kind of presence that makes her easy to take into the world. And when the adventures are over? Minnie transforms into a full-time couch companion. She settles in easily and loves nothing more than curling up next to her people. Naps, quiet evenings, lazy weekends—she’s all in. She doesn’t demand constant stimulation; she just wants connection. If you’re on the couch, she’s on the couch. If you’re in bed, she’s suddenly very convinced she belongs there too. At around two years old, Minnie is past the chaotic puppy stage but still young, vibrant, and full of life. She’s the perfect balance of playful curiosity and calm companionship. She would do well in an apartment or a house, with or without a yard, as long as she has people who want her close. Minnie isn’t just a “good dog.” She’s the kind of dog who becomes someone’s shadow, someone’s comfort, someone’s constant little reminder that life is better when you’re loved this much.
