About Sokkaodin
This could be the start of something paw-some. Sokkaodin, also lovingly called Owen, has shown remarkable resilience after being left alone for ten days in an apartment before being rescued. Despite this tough beginning, he immediately proved himself to be extraordinarily sweet, loving everyone he met and befriending other dogs in his foster home. After a change in his foster environment, Owen protected his caregiver during a dog attack, which unfortunately left him more fearful and cautious than before. Owen now finds himself seeking a quiet, patient, and low-key home where he can take time to rebuild his confidence and regain a sense of security. Ideally, he would thrive in a home with a backyard, where he can relax and enjoy time outdoors. A committed adopter or foster will be vital for Owen, someone willing to work closely with a behaviorist to gently help him overcome his trauma. Though this is a significant commitment, Owen is more than deserving of a family committed to his happiness and healing. Sokka/Owen is currently in Utah. Make their next chapter their best one yet.

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
The Akbash is a large, active breed that requires plenty of outdoor space to roam, ideally a spacious yard. They do best in homes with large, secure areas rather than apartments or small homes without outdoor access.
