About Fred Walker
Loyal, goofy, and always ready for playtime, Fred Walker is eager to find his forever family. Fred’s history hasn’t been easy, but he’s shown remarkable resilience as he warms up to new people in his foster home. He’s smart and completely potty trained, already mastering "sit" and "down" and currently working on “stay” and “heel.” Fred can be left home alone without trouble. He’s happiest outside on walks and enjoys calm car rides, keeping a close eye on things along the way. Fred is especially passionate about his toys—squeaky ones in particular—and loves games of tug-of-war with his foster dad. He often drops his favorite stuffed animal right into someone’s lap as a not-very-subtle invitation to play. He bonds deeply with one person and is protective of his home, so he needs an adult-only family that understands how to help him feel secure with everyone. With patience and consistency, he learns to trust each member of the household. Fred gets along with both dogs and cats, enjoys being brushed and petted, and is happiest relaxing at your feet after a good day. Born January 7th, Fred is a Capricorn, so you can count on him to be loyal and steadfast. If you’re looking for a loving companion and have a patient, adult home ready, Fred would love to meet you next. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
