Bobby (male) and Piper (female) are a bonded pair who have lived a difficult life outside. They were dropped off at a house with 3 other cats. The family where they were dropped off took care of the colony. Bobby & Piper are the only two left and the family caring for them realized they were tame. We are guessing they are around 9 years old. Their current foster was going to keep them, but Bobby fights the cats in the home so that they would be best as only cats living out the last years of their lives in comfort. Best without kids or dogs. Bobby is talkative and likes pets, but Piper is timid. She flinches when you pet her, so we don’t know if she was abused before being abandoned. She’ll need someone with patience and love. They need to be watched if any doors are left open as they will try to slip outside. They LOVE their cardboard scratchers, so make sure you have plenty! Please remember that rescue cats have a past and will need someone to be patient and kind with them as they settle into their new home. Just like humans, trust can come with time. Patience is a requirement to help these cats rebuild trust with humans, and they must remain indoors. We would be more than happy to help educate and provide advice through the rehoming process.
