About Cookie
Cookie is a spayed female German Shepherd in her early adult years, currently fostered in Round Rock, TX. She weighs in the 50–55 lb range, which is on the lighter side for her breed, but what she might lack in size, she makes up for with her energetic personality. Cookie is fully house and crate trained, but crating isn't her favorite thing—she much prefers having the option to come and go as she pleases. In her foster home, access to a yard via a pet door has been great for her, and she thrives when she has plenty of outdoor time. Cookie gets along with most other dogs and loves to play, though she can have a dominant streak, so a household with easygoing canine friends or as the only dog could suit her best. She hasn't been tested with children or cats. Cookie loves snacks almost as much as she loves exploring new spaces—she’s not a fit for apartment life, but she will flourish in a home with a yard and plenty of chances to roam and sniff the world. She is current on her vaccinations and microchipped, and her heartworm test is negative with preventatives up to date. You’ll quickly see she’s eager for companionship and always ready for a treat or two. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
