Pawsy is a German Shepherd and Lab mix who recently lost her owner and is now being fostered in Leander, TX. She’s thriving in her new foster home, running and playing with another dog her size, and spending lots of time outside in the yard, finally discovering the appeal of grass and open space after years in an apartment. Pawsy and her dog buddy are always on the lookout for squirrels and love to sunbathe together. She’s got a gentle and sweet nature, with excellent manners and a solid command of sit, stay, and lay down. Pawsy is also fully housetrained. Fetch is still her favorite game, and she likes to fall asleep with her toys nearby. She gets along well with other dogs, welcomes people with warmth—including children—and adapts easily to new faces. Despite her age, Pawsy is healthy, active, and looking for a loving, fenced-in backyard to call her own. She’s proof that senior dogs still have plenty of life and affection to give.
