Picked up as a stray in early 2024, Blackjack's resilience shines through, and he's flourished in foster care since then. He's a big, athletic dog—short-coated and jet black, always ready for the next game outdoors. Energetic and goofy, Blackjack lives for adventures: he loves running, exploring, splashing in a kiddie pool, and playing with other dogs. Expect morning belly rubs, plenty of laughs, and a dog who puts his heart into every moment. He responds well to structure and support, picking up on new routines and training with consistency. Blackjack is eager to meet friendly people and enjoys outings where he can take in new sights and smells. He does best with experienced dog owners who can offer patience, clear boundaries, and time outdoors; Blackjack isn’t suited to city life or homes with cats.
