Stanley Jum—affectionately known as Stan the man—has been through more than most ever will. He came from terrible conditions, with a whole crew of relatives, bearing nutrition and skin issues that left him fearful and wary of people. Thanks to patient care, medicine, and a lot of love, he's come a long way. His coat is now a soft, long fuzz, mostly black with cream and white accents, and his body and heart both show real healing. Stanley has learned people aren't all bad and now even seeks out affection. Still, he needs a patient, understanding family who will let him come around in his own time. He does best with another friendly, social, and playful dog in the house to help him keep building his confidence and trust. He's about 35 pounds—a comfortable size that won't take over the couch but will definitely fill up a home with heart. Stanley isn’t house trained yet and will need help learning the ropes.
