About Ermac
Update: Ermac has grown into a striking cat, but in all the ways that matter, he hasn’t changed. He’s still skittish, still hissy, and still gentle deep down. With people, Ermac remains reserved—he’ll take a few cautious pets if he thinks nobody’s watching, but then it's back to business as usual. All four of his siblings became social and outgoing; Ermac, though, is holding the line, not budging on his independent ways. Ermac comes alive around other cats. He immediately befriends every new feline at the rescue and is a constant presence for even the shy or standoffish ones. He’s playful and healthy, chasing and chatting with his cat friends, usually after the humans have left. If you have a cat in need of a buddy—or just appreciate a project—he’s your match. Ermac may never be cuddly with people, but he’s fiercely loyal to his feline friends. He wants a home where he can be the best companion for another cat—even if he never warms up to people the same way. He’s motivated by food, secretly enjoys affection, and might someday come around in the right environment. He must be adopted with another cat friend or into a home with an existing resident cat. Born September 30, Ermac is a Libra—so he’s got that balance-loving streak, even if he hides it well. Vaccinations are up to date and he is neutered. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
