Meet Doreen Fundle, the gentlest little old soul you will ever meet. Doreen was rescued from the South LA Shelter where life was much too overwhelming for a senior girl. She is now safe in a loving foster home and receiving the care she deserves. Doreen is currently being treated for an ear infection and a skin infection. Her foster gives her medicated baths and uses her prescribed medicated mousse, and she is responding beautifully. Her foster is incredibly experienced with senior dogs and special needs pups, so Doreen is getting the very best care while she heals. She has a touch of old dog syndrome, which makes her just a little restless at night, but it is manageable and part of her sweet senior charm. During the day she is quiet, easy to care for, and loves finding a soft bed to curl up in. She takes her medications without any trouble, gets along perfectly with other dogs, and has had no accidents in the house with regular outdoor breaks. She can relax in a crate for a couple of hours while you run errands, and she enjoys having calm company close by. Doreen would be a wonderful companion for someone who is home often and wants to love and care for a gentle, low-key lady who still has so much heart to give.
