With no special needs, he’s ready to find a home that recognizes his zest for life and outgoing personality.
About Bobby
Bobby is still looking for his forever family and can't quite figure out why he's been overlooked. He greets everyone he meets with a wagging tail and good manners, and he's become a wonderful housemate. Give him a toy from the super chewer box and he's in heaven, with a particular love for balls he can chase and chew. There's likely a good dose of pointer and labrador retriever in Bobby—his playful, bird-watching nature and lack of hound howling give it away. He adores the dog park, running for an hour solid without slowing down, but comes home ready to settle and hang out with his people. Bobby has learned crate etiquette (especially if treats are involved), and does well with free roam when folks are home, but he's crated when left for short periods. He's social with other dogs, but can get rowdy in play, so a sturdy, energetic dog companion would be ideal. Despite being okay with cats in shelter settings, he isn’t living with them now, so use caution. He gets along well with kids but is a bit too rambunctious for toddlers or anyone unsteady on their feet. At 46 lbs. of muscle and with short, white and fawn fur, Bobby is athletic and striking. Ideal for an adopter who's around or can take him along, Bobby thrives with a yard to run in and a fellow rough-and-tumble canine friend. He’ll need someone familiar with hound breeds and willing to put in time for continued leash and skill training. Bobby’s sun sign is Leo, so he was born to stand out and loves attention.
