About Katie

Katie has a gentle, shy spirit that quietly charms anyone patient enough to earn her trust. After a year in foster care, she now greets her people by the bedroom door, eager for chin scritches and face rubs. She's most alive at the sound of a wet food can, knowing exactly what she likes and unafraid to ask for it. Afternoons find her stretched long in the sunlight, eyes alert as she watches birds flit by outside—pure contentment. At nine years old, Katie has settled into being curious and sweet, drawn to the calm and routine of a quiet home. She would do best as the only cat, enjoying peace without dogs or children. Whoever welcomes her in will gain a companion who is thoughtful and full of gratitude for patience shared. Click apply to start the adoption process.
