About Diamond
Meet Diamond, a delightful female Domestic Short Hair in Gonic, NH. Born on January 1, 2019, this charming southern belle became part of our rescue after living in a rough trailer park in North Carolina. After spending two years with her foster family, she's now ready for her forever home. Although Diamond was adopted in December 2024, she recently returned to us due to her previous owner's health issues. Playful yet affectionate on her own terms, Diamond enjoys being petted and scratched behind the ears. She quickly warms up to her new surroundings, often settling on the couch beside you, content with her head resting on your lap. While she appreciates occasional attention, she values her independence and needs a cat-savvy adopter who can recognize her cues. Being on the pleasantly plump side, a controlled dry food regimen is recommended, supplemented with her favorite wet food a few times daily. Bonding deeply with those she loves, Diamond shows her affection with head bunting and gentle grooming. However, her mixed personality means she prefers to be the only cat in the house. She doesn't get along with other cats, dogs, or children, so a quiet home is ideal for her. If you’re ready to embrace this sweet and spicy girl, we encourage you to apply for her adoption. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
