About Sarah Bee
Sarah Bee is an easygoing shepherd mix with a very sweet nature. She thrives on affection and isn't shy about asking for love. Sarah still has a playful streak and will sometimes get the zoomies, especially when the mood strikes her. She enjoys walks and does well on leash, which is great as she's carrying extra weight and would benefit from regular outings with an adopter who enjoys being active. Most of the time, Sarah's temperament stays calm, but loud noises like thunder or fireworks send her hiding under a bed, and sudden movements can startle her. She does best in a home with older kids, as rowdiness makes her nervous, but she absolutely loves gentle children and soaks up belly rubs. Sarah is fully housetrained and has no experience with crates. She's cautious when meeting new people, preferring to observe from a distance until she feels secureāthen her affectionate side comes out. When sheās happy to see you, she sometimes jumps up, though her foster family is working on this habit. While she isnāt fond of the family cat, she gets along well with other dogs and would do fine as a solo dog or as part of a pack. Sarah is estimated to be between four and six years old and weighs about 70-75 lbs. Her coat is medium-length and soft, and she has a memorable, adorable smile. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Sarah came to rescue while pregnant and has proven to be a devoted mother; now that her pups are adopted, itās finally her time for a permanent home. She'll be a loyal, calm, and loving companion for someone ready for her. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
