Mya is a medium-sized female Siamese/Domestic Short Hair mix, sporting beautiful chocolate point and seal point coloring in a short coat. She’s about 2 years old and has been spayed, plus her vaccinations are all up to date. Fully house trained, she’s living with a mild case of CH (cerebellar hypoplasia), which means she’s a bit unsteady but manages everything just fine. Mya is in Plainville, CT.

About Mya

Mya started life in a feral colony and spent her early kittenhood learning to navigate the world. Now, at about 2 years old, she’s a sweet, social cat who loves attention and isn’t shy about asking for it—expect her to wind around your legs and eagerly wait for pets. While she’s fine being picked up, Mya would rather keep her paws on solid ground. She truly thrives around other cats, so she’d do best in a home with another playful feline or one of her rescue friends. She has not been tested with young children and hasn't had much exposure to dogs, but can be introduced to see how she feels. When it comes to strangers, Mya still takes a little time to warm up. Mya is a little bit wobbly due to mild cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), but she’s very capable: she uses her litter box without issue, takes stairs in stride, and even loves climbing and jumping on cat towers. Because of her wobbles and gentle quirks, she’ll need a home with someone who understands cats and can be patient with her special needs and shy side. Give her a little time and she’ll show you just how lovable and charming she really is. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
