At just 12 pounds, this senior Jack Russell Terrier has a gentle, grateful personality and a knack for blending calmly into any group of animals. She lives well with other dogsābig and smallāand is very respectful around cats, making her a good fit for other easygoing pets. Porcini doesnāt need much in the way of exercise, just a few short, leisurely strolls so she can explore and sniff around, which she loves. Sheās quiet and never barks or cries, content to nap and toddle about the house. Her foster mom notes that Porcini canāt manage stairs, but sheās easy to carry and no trouble on outings or at bath time. For Porcini, the ideal home is calm and gentle, without small children, but with nice animals and a laid-back atmosphere. You wonāt get huge signs of affection, but sheāll reward you with happy sleeping snorts, food-time chirps, and faithful quiet company.
