About Samson
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Samson is truly a one-of-a-kind companion, admired not only for his striking brindle coat but also his vibrant spirit and loving heart. Around the rescue, he's famous for his love of outdoor adventures through group hikes, affectionately called Tails to Trails, where you'll find him joyfully splashing in every puddle, creek, or stream he encounters. His leash manners are impeccable—never pulling or acting out—even when other dogs are close by, showcasing his polite demeanor. When he's not out exploring, Samson can be found pushing his Jolly Ball around the play yard, burning off energy before unwinding with a good nap. He also relishes car rides, content to ride shotgun and soak up affection from his favorite people. During stays in foster care, Samson enjoys snuggling on the couch, playing fetch, and demonstrating flawless house manners. Toys are always up for grabs, as long as there's a fun game involved! For his forever home, Samson hopes for a peaceful, adult-only environment and an experienced adopter willing to invest time earning his trust. He thrives with minimal visitors and prefers being the only dog, although he shows no major concerns around cats. Once you've earned his affection, you'll find a loyal companion for life. Fun fact: Samson's April 19th birthday makes him a passionate Aries—no wonder he loves adventure! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
