He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and is truly a sweetheart. His playful nature shines through when he gets to play ball, and he loves every minute of affection he receives. Derpy is very affectionate and gentle with people, and can be a bit shy at first due to limited socialization, but warms up quickly—he recently charmed everyone at a hardware store! He enjoys the company of other dogs, has spent time around cats and children, and does great with all. Derpy walks well on leash, although some additional leash training would benefit him. He does have a high prey drive and enjoys chasing birds, but is responsive to commands like "leave it" and eager to please.
