About Shirley Rose
**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to NJ for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Ms. Shirley Rose. We call her Rosie! Rosie is the definition of a people dog. She would love to spend her entire day right by her person's side. She’ll lay contentedly by your feet and chew on her bones and will walk beautifully on the leash. She’d be best being the only dog in your household, but with Rosie by your side, you won’t ever be lonely! Rosie the snuggle bug loves people and kids. She is still young — just 1 year and 2 months old and weighs in at 40 lbs. She does perfectly on the leash and is crate trained. Interested in becoming a forever home for this pup ? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws. If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs — for them, one application will be fine. Because we have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, your application may be missed if you only apply once. Find more adoptable pets, news, and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions finding our fur babies the most loving homes. Please do not apply if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Rosie the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age-appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention, and travel expenses. All our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for their transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
