Finn
AvailableFinn is a 5 year, 11 month old neutered male Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler and American Staffordshire Terrier mix in Oklahoma City, OK. He’s a medium-sized adult dog who is completely house trained. Finn is vaccinated and ready to join a home that can offer structure and consistency.
About Finn
Finn is all about action and curiosity. He needs daily, focused exercise and plenty of mental stimulation to match his energy. Crate trained and house trained, Finn has made big strides in confidence, but still takes a little time to trust new faces and other dogs. That trust deepens day by day, though, and he follows a helpful procedure for meeting new people and dogs—future adopters are encouraged to stick with this routine, and ongoing support will be available. Finn thrives with structure, boundaries, and a calm environment. He’ll do best with a non-dominant canine companion if other dogs are present. Homes with small children or cats aren’t the right fit, given his trust issues and prey drive. Structured discipline allows Finn to settle and shine. If you can provide a steady routine and patience, Finn’s loyalty and progress will reward you in return. Your new best friend is just one click away.

Questions about Finn
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Finn’s mix of Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler and American Staffordshire Terrier does best in a home with clear routines, strong boundaries, and enough space to let out some energy. An active, structured environment suits him well.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Finn will benefit from a securely fenced yard or regular access to open areas for exercise. This breed mix thrives with opportunities to run, play, and work off energy each day.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Due to Finn’s trust needs and tendency to warm slowly, homes with small children are not ideal. Older children who respect his boundaries might do well, but young children aren’t recommended.
